Notice Related to Outsourcing of Customer Services Hotline of the Bank

For your enjoying better customer services, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (Asia) Limited (the “Bank”) will enhance the quality and efficiency of its customer services hotline. With effect from 1st December 2016, the Bank will outsource its customer services hotline to a call service centre of its parent company, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China Limited, located in Mainland China (the "Service Provider"). Please be noted that investment, insurance and card service hotline are excluding from this outsourcing customer services hotline.

As a result, the personal data of customers may be disclosed or transferred to the Service Provider appointed by the Bank. The appointed Service Provider will adopt stringent security measures to ensure the personal data of customers are kept in strict confidence. However, the personal data of customers may need to be provided or disclosed to any person to whom the Bank or any of its appointed Service Provider under an obligation to make disclosure under the requirements of any binding law, or under the purposes of any guidelines issued by regulatory or other authorities (including but not limited to government departments, judiciary or tax authorities) with which the Bank or any of its Service Provider expected to comply.
